April 2025 wrapped up with unforgettable events for Roam, from hitting new milestones to making its mark at reputable Web3 events. Here are eight important highlights from the month.

  1. Hong Kong Web3 Festival and Solana Night 

The Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2025 took place from April 6 to 9 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. With over 50,000 attendees, more than 300 speakers, and 150+ Web3 projects, it was one of the biggest blockchain events in Asia this year.

Roam proudly showcased its technology at the festival with a dedicated booth. Thousands of visitors came to connect with the team, explored the Roam app, and enjoyed fun activities to win exclusive merchandise. This event significantly boosted Roam’s visibility and helped strengthen our community ties in Hong Kong.

Besides the main festival, Roam partnered with Solana Foundation and Solar to host a side event called Solana Night. Over 500 builders, investors, and developers joined the event to network, have meaningful conversations, and strengthen connections.

  1. 3 Million Nodes Milestone

In April, Roam surpassed the milestone of 3 million nodes on its network, adding 1 million nodes in just over one month. This rapid growth reinforced Roam’s position as the #1 DePIN project on Depinscan.io and showcased the strong dedication and active participation of its community.

Driven by the mission to unify WiFi hotspots into one decentralized network, Roam continually encourages users to help build and expand the network. To support this, the Roam app is regularly updated with new features and improved user experiences, making it easier and more rewarding for users.

  1. Roam Business eSIM Program Launched

Understanding the growing need for global, affordable connectivity among corporates, Roam launched the Roam Business eSIM Program as the perfect solution for smart connectivity and efficient cost management.

Roamers can collect these stickers by checking in at any Roam WiFi hotspot. Each sticker has its own level of rarity, and collecting them helps you become eligible for the Sticker Burning Pool. Whether you enjoy collecting or just want to earn some extra rewards, this seasonal collection adds a fun and exciting touch to your Roam experience.

  1. AI Agents Feature Launched in the Roam App

As AI and Web3 continue to evolve, it’s clear that the next wave of user experiences will be shaped not only by decentralization but also by automation, personalization, and human-centered design. In response to this shift, Roam introduced the Roam AI Agent, marking the first step toward integrating AI into the Roam App to make it more helpful and engaging in everyday life.

Unlike traditional chatbots, the Roam AI Agent includes nine specialized agents, each focused on a specific area. This multi-agent system provides more accurate, personalized, and emotionally intelligent interactions. In this first phase, Roam users receive 10 free messages per day across all agents, giving them the freedom to explore, reflect, and ask the questions that matter most.

  1. R3AL WORLD: DePIN ♥️ AI

From April 29 to April 30, the Roam team was in Dubai to attend TOKEN2049, a renowned global conference in the crypto space. Roam made a strong impression by partnering with IoTeX to co-host R3AL WORLD: DePIN ♥ AI, a side event for investors, founders, and builders. The event encouraged discussions about the future of device-centric AI networks and the development of the DePIN sector.

  1. Strategic Partnership with AIxBlock 

On April 21, Roam announced a strategic partnership with AIxBlock, a decentralized end-to-end AI development platform that offers access to decentralized computing resources, AI models, and human validators. This collaboration supports our mission of bridging AI and DePIN, building a smarter, faster, and more secure decentralized applications.
