Certified WiFi appears with a visual mark in the Roam App, making it a go-to choice for users seeking dependable connections. Plus, when Certified Users Check-In at Certified WiFi, they may score special rewards.

    How to Get Your WiFi Certified

    • Gold Mark (Roam Miner WiFi)

      • Own a Roam WiFi Miner.

      • Checked-In by at least 3 Certified Users.

      • Offers desired OpenRoaming coverage.

      • No history of suspicious activity.

    • Blue Mark (Other WiFi)

      • Public or private WiFi.

      • WiFi health status rated high or medium.

      • Checked-In by at least 3 Certified Users.

      • Provides desired WiFi coverage.

      • No history of suspicious activity.

    WiFi Health Status

    The WiFi health status applies to all Roam Community WiFi locations, with real-time monitoring tracking network conditions. Each network is assigned one of five ratings based on performance and activity:

    • OpenRoaming/Premium: Indicates a top-tier network with OpenRoaming or premium coverage, typically tied to Roam Miners.

    • High: Active connections within the past 2 weeks.

    • Medium: Last active connection within 2 months.

    • Low: Last active connection over 2 months ago.

    • Offline: Network is currently offline.

    2. Certified Users

    User accounts can also earn a Gold Mark or Blue Mark, showcasing your active role in the Roam ecosystem. This mark appears next to your profile photo in the Roam App and unlocks rewards like token airdrops or exclusive gift boxes.

    How to Get Certified

    • Gold Mark (Roam Miner Owners)

      • Registered a Roam Miner.

      • Active in the past 12 months.

      • No history of suspicious activity.

      • Accumulated at least 500 Roam Points (held for 48 hours per UTC rule).

    • Blue Mark (Roam App Users)

      • Active in the past 12 months.

      • No history of suspicious activity.
